Why subscribe?
If you are looking for the best or the most of anything from the world’s leading anybody, then you ain’t in the right place. This is not the place for celebrity or self-adulation. This is simply a space for ordinary people who take responsibility for their own actions and work each day to make the world a better place.
The modern world wants to pigeonhole us, restraining us to one niche of expertise or one point of view. But we’re not built that way, are we? We see the world through kaleidoscopic eyes. We are Gemini, children of the Roman god Janus, we are the ones who see all sides of an issue, and we see through the nonsense and lies. We know how to find our way to the truth. We may live in an artificial world built for extroverts, but we belong in the natural world, the real world. And that natural world is now under unprecedented threat. The artificial world, which could be an egalitarian world of abundance and beauty, is devolving into authoritarian nightmare where a minority of powerful entities dominate the powerless multitude. Whether introvert or extrovert, whether we want to preserve the natural world or improve the artificial world, we can no longer afford to sit idly by.
Can our voices make the world a better place? Is it possible to have a meaningful discussion in a media environment that thrives on discord and short attention spans? If you occasionally visit here, you’ll notice that my mind loves to wander. Politics? Progressive. Worries? Sustainability. Favorites? Enzymology. Annoyances? Disinformation. Religions? Yeah.
